New photos and video from April 2024 showing the progress of the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. Taken by Mylo Kaye using a drone to get the best angles and perspective of its size.
Co-op Live Arena is Manchester’s newest and most exciting live entertainment venue and will quickly become a landmark for music in Manchester.
I recently visited the arena with my drone to capture stunning aerial footage and was blown away.
From the outside, Co-op Live Arena impresses with its modern, sleek design, which you can see in my footage. It has lighting on the outside that can change to match the energy of whatever event is happening inside(will this annoy locals?), although from what I could see, they were still testing this, which is a shame.
With a capacity of over 23,500, it is the largest venue in the UK, beating the AO Arena. It is designed to host large-scale concerts such as Peter Kay, sporting events, but with delays this isn’t likely to happen this April.
The Co-op is committed to sustainability and community engagement as its parent brand, which is great and will be super-eco-friendly, minimising waste, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainability, nice hey.
